The number of new YA books is surprisingly low this week. I can’t remember when I last found less than ten released through publishers. With so few books hot off the press this week, I’m sure many will be free devote their attention to Nevernight. For such an highly anticipated title, that indeed is great news.
Hot off the Press – August 1, 2016
After the relative lull over the past couple of weeks, there are a lot more new books to look forward to this week. Spotlighting Aussie YA, we’ve got Saving Jazz by Kate McCaffrey, Songs That Sound Like Blood by Jared Thomas, Promising Azra by Helen Thurloe, and The Boundless Sublime by Lili Wilkinson. Publishers are also very prolific with re-releases this week, so if you prefer paperbacks, you’ll definitely want to check out that section below.

You’d think the summer months would be prime time for new young adult releases. Vacations beg for new books as readers kick back and enjoy some respite. In any case, there still might be books that capture your interest this week. If not, I’m sure TBR (to be read) piles aren’t complaining back home.
