Lately my lack of reading time has been weighing on my mind. In January I only read three books because I dedicated a lot of my limited spare time to blogging. In February that number rose to eight books as I scaled back a little on blogging. Over the past two weeks however, I finished reading seven books but I blogged considerably little. I’m much happier for the books I managed to finish. Yet, blogging less and hardly checking my RSS feeds has made me feel more disconnected.

Driving lessons are going well and I passed my final theory test last week! This means once I clear my subjects and complete my extra auto transmission lesson, I’ll be able to book my driving test. If all goes well and there’s no sudden influx of test takers, I expect my driving test to be in two months. Other than that, I’m looking forward to Sarah J. Maas’s book signing this Friday. It’s very rare that international authors visit, so I’m sure that’s gonna be interesting to witness.

My last wrap-up went up weeks ago and it already is the end of February. The days themselves seem to drag on while the weeks are going by in a snap. Lots has happened during this time but amidst all that busyness, I’ve hardly taken stock of everything. I expect things to slow down a little in a week or two. Can’t wait for then.
Retrospect #109–110: February 7
Over the past two weeks I had a lot of things to complete at work. One of those projects included setting up a website. Since I don’t know how to write code from scratch, I had to source for a pre-made Wordpress theme and work from there. Thankfully I knew what I was looking for and found a suitable one pretty quickly.

Adding more damage to my TBR (to be read) pile I received in the mail my orders of The Chimes by Anna Small and Die Verschworenen by Ursula Poznanski. I’ve wanted to read The Chimes since last July but only managed to get my hands on it now because the UK release date was pushed back several times. Now I finally own a copy and definitely plan to red this one next month.
