For over two years, I regularly rounded up the latest young adult releases as well as reissued paperback editions. Each round took me at least two hours or three to pull together all the titles. These are hours that I’m no longer prepared to invest in collating book releases.

This week is a surprisingly quiet publishing week for Young Adult books. Of the books out hit week, I’ve read Love, Hate & Other Things by Samira Ahmed. If you’re up for fluffy romance, definitely pick this one up! At the same time, it deals with Islamophobia, terrorism and white supremacy, which makes it extremely relevant today.

Some new releases, and a lot of re-releases hit the shelves this week. I’ve yet to read Scythe but the hype around Thunderhead by Neal Shusterman makes me wanna get started on this series soon! A Quiet Kind of Thunder by Sara Barnard is arriving in the US this week. I recommended picking it up. Other than that, I lament that I hated The Graces because the cover of The Curses looks stunning! If you enjoyed the first book, those US editions will look great together.
