October was a whirlwind of a month and I have so much to be grateful for. I’m particularly glad that as a result of my decision to travel in Germany and Switzerland also led me to FBM. There was so much to see as I shared in my FBM post, Vol. 1 a couple of weeks ago. There were lots of programmes too, which I captured on camera. And of course, I also got to meet some great friends.

Where should I start? So much happened in September before whirlwind of an October that I had! I met Elaine and Tory over coffee and books. Later that month Hazel made a trip to Singapore, so we seized the opportunity to meet as well. I’m always curious about who these people are behind their screens. It’s really amazing how we get to meet like-minded people through the book blogosphere and bookstagram as well; more amazing even when you discover that some of them live so near you.

Overview: June 2015
June saw a slow-down in reading for me. I only completed 6 books, which is way below the number I’ve been averaging over the past year. I attribute this to work and general lethargy. I’ve also been training more regularly as the 2015/16 leagues are approaching for me. In some ways, I saw this coming even at the beginning of the year. That’s why I set my reading goal at 85. Since that still put me 18 books ahead at the half-year mark, I increased it to 100.
