Hot off the Press — Stay up to date with weekly YA releases | wordrevel.com

For some reason I used to think The Serpent King is a fantasy book, then I learnt it’s actually contemporary fiction. Surprise! The title got me for that one. Had I scrutinised the cover sooner, I probably wouldn’t have had that mistaken belief. In any case, this week I’m most looking forward to Map of Fates.

The Serpent King looks really good, actually – I’ve read some reviews and now I’m 100% sure it’s contemporary. Haha. But yeah, sometimes blurbs/titles can be very misleading.

Yes. All the time. Sometimes I will even go into a book with a set of expectations because of what I think it will be like and then I am disappointed (or not, just more confused than anything…)

I’m pretty sure I’ve gushed about how helpful this feature before but IT IS SO HELPFUL. OMG. How do you even keep track of all these releases yourself? I’m not particularly waiting on anything this week, but ooh, Shades of Darkness and Red Witch have GORGEOUS covers.
