Can’t believe it’s October already! I feel like September only just started; probably because I spent most of last month packing and shifting stuff ahead of our home renovation, which means the days just melded into one another for me. With renovations ongoing the coming month, then moving and unpacking again, I’ll not have a lot of time to blog but I’ll check in when I can.
Anyway, With Halloween just around the corner, it’s no wonder this week’s releases aren’t lacking in speculative fiction. Naturally, I’m excited about the latest illustrated Harry Potter edition! I pre-ordered it months ago and can’t wait for my copy to arrive in the mail.
Other highly anticipated releases you might want to check out are Wild Beauty by Anna-Marie McLemore and That Inevitable Victorian Thing by E.K. Johnston. Of course, Libba Bray fans, the third book in The Diviners series, Before the Devil Breaks You, is out this week!
