New Partner
Earlier this month, I wasn’t sure if Olena and I would be continuing together with Epic Recs because of her very busy schedule. Since she’s still deciding, I figured it wouldn’t hurt to look for another/a new partner. So I asked on Twitter who would be interested.
Shortly after, Hazel from Stay Bookish replied that she was up for it. She was excited, I was excited and so we decided to get started right away for this month already.
About Hazel
I couldn’t be more psyched about partnering with Hazel. She’s my amazing blog twin with whom I share June 12, 2013 as our blogoversaries. She loves photography as much as I do, recently setting up a new photo blog, Films & Reveries. And while she adores romance far more than I do, we both find comfort in reading contemporary fiction.
Our Recs
To start off, Hazel recommended Graffiti Moon by Cath Crowley. It’s one of her favourite contemporary/Australian YA books. The best part is I already owned it, so I just had to bump it up my TBR pile.
My rec was A Blind Spot for Boys by Justina Chen. I figured that the romance should entice Hazel and there’s no way she can resist the MC’s passion for photography. Incidentally, she hauled that book last December, so she also gets to read off her shelf this month.
