Mise-en-scène #14: Old but Gold

May 1, 2015

Mise-en-scene Old but Gold with stack of classics

When I think of books and old but gold, three things come to mind: classics, childhood books and books that have been passed down to younger members in the family. Looking at my stack of unread classics, I thought I should show more appreciation for them.

Since I like the colour red more than gold, I picked those off my shelf but I have many more classics that I intend to read. Of the books I photographed above, I’ve only read Bacchae by Euripides. The rest are still waiting for me.

Mise-en-scène is a weekly feature/meme that Georgie and I created to challenge ourselves in (bookish) photography.
