March was an even worse reading month over January compared to February. There are several reasons for this. For one, I’ve been decluttering my things since January. I was determined to finish as much as possible by the end of March. That meant I had much less time left for reading. I’m also back to training three times a week for the upcoming season and other competitions. This will only increase in the coming months as I look to put in extra hours by myself as well. At least I can listen to audiobooks while running.
Hot off the Press – April 10, 2017
Of this week’s releases, Alex and Eliza and The Upside of Unrequited have been on many people’s radar. There also are considerably more historical fiction books out. Among these, the sequel of Blackhearts, Blacksouls is also hot off the press.
Hot off the Press – April 3, 2017
This week is brimming with YA contemporary releases and even more re-releases. I’ve been looking forward to Gem & Dixie by Sara Zarr for nearly three years. There were no title and synopsis yet but I’ve read all of her other books and enjoyed them.
Essentials for Staying In
When it comes to essentials for staying in, naturally, for a bibliophile, books will top the list. I’m no exception. I actually get most of my reading done during commutes and while waiting. If I’m in the subway, in a queue, waiting for a bus, am early for a meeting with friends, you can bet I’m reading. Although, my favourite place to read is my bedroom.
Hot off the Press – March 27, 2017
Strange the Dreamer hits the shelves this week! I’m sure many of you have been waiting for for Laini Taylor’s book to finally released. Also out this week: A Crown of Wishes! I’ve heard so many good things about the first book in the series, I can’t wait to get started on it as well. Among the other books publishing this week, I’m most intrigued by Things I Should Have Known. This book is about sisters, one of whom is autistic, while the other is determined to help her find love. Sister dynamics, in my opinion, don’t feature enough in books, so I’m glad to find out about this one.
