So many books, so little time! It doesn’t help when the list of books we intend to read are out of control. That TBR list is supposed to help us keep track of books we definitely want to read, so that we don’t lose track. Once it has grown out of proportion though, that list no longer helps us stay on task. In order to combat this problem, I have put together a list that serves as a handy guide to managing TBR piles.
My Issue with Book Porn
Where’s My Book Mail?
For some reason mail delivery times have been severely delayed over the past few months, which has also been affecting my book orders. Whenever I open my mailbox nowadays, the first question on my mind is, “Where’s my book mail?” I won’t peg that on impatience either. I’m totally down with waiting a week. Two weeks are bearable. Three weeks are not cool. Four weeks are excruciating.
Fiction is Fiction: On Bookstore Shelving Systems
Over the past couple of weeks I noticed something whenever I stepped into the bookstores of a particular local chain. Why I’m Thankful for my Local Library
Last week I had a conversation with my dad and I told him that if I choose to live somewhere else in future, there is one thing I’ll miss here: the local public library system. The collection of books in the catalogue is so extensive that most of the English books I want to read are available for loan. The reference section too is nothing to sneeze at, housing books that would cost me over a hundred dollars, were I to buy them.
