A Basic Guide to Managing TBR Piles
So many books, so little time! It doesn’t help when the list of books we intend to read are out of control. That TBR list is supposed to help us keep track of books we definitely want to read, so that we don’t lose track. Once it has grown out of proportion though, that list no longer helps us stay on task. In order to combat this problem, I have put together a list that serves as a handy guide to managing TBR piles.

Where’s My Book Mail?

For some reason mail delivery times have been severely delayed over the past few months, which has also been affecting my book orders. Whenever I open my mailbox nowadays, the first question on my mind is, “Where’s my book mail?” I won’t peg that on impatience either. I’m totally down with waiting a week. Two weeks are bearable. Three weeks are not cool. Four weeks are excruciating.
Fiction is Fiction: On Bookstore Shelving Systems
Over the past couple of weeks I noticed something whenever I stepped into the bookstores of a particular local chain. It seems they have abandoned the segregation between YA/teen fiction and general/adult fiction. The shelves still do exist but a lot of YA fiction has been shelved under general fiction. Have the bookstore shelving systems collapsed? Take a look at the following book covers. These were shelved together in one of the shelf sections.
