Mise-en-scène: Autumn

Mise-en-scene: Autumn

Autumn has always been favourite season, mostly for the colours. While I love the vibrant streaks of reds and yellows, it’s also the woodsiness of the season that I adore. Sadly, autumn doesn’t visit this part of the world that I live in. Instead we battle with monsoon seasons and El Niño. On the upside, the temperatures don’t fluctuate as much, so summer clothes are appropriate all year round.

Which season is your favourite?

Visit Georgie’s Instagram account, @whatshereads to see her autumn photo. If you’re participating in Mise-en-scène, remember to leave your link in the linky widget down below!

Mise-en-scène is a weekly feature/meme that Georgie and I created to challenge ourselves in (bookish) photography.

I love sunny skies and running around the beach so it’s definitely the summer for me!

Autumn is definitely my favourite season – being in the United Kingdom, it definitely visits here! I live in a more rural part of the country, in a valley, and it’s always lovely seeing the landscape shift and change with the seasons.

I love how you’ve used wicker for the backdrop of this picture… Wicker is something that screams autumn/winter to me.

Fall is my fave even though I haven’t experience it in my whole life. Is that weird? Lol.

[…] Cloud 9 by Alex Campbell arrived for me this week. This is part of my personal birthday haul, along with a few more shipments that have to arrive. This means it’s an exemption to my semi-book buying ban. Then I received Mrs Dalloway by Virginia Woolf from a friend who had two copies and decided to offload it. […]
