The Trouble With Destiny has been on my radar since last year since I’ve read Being Sloane by Lauren Morrill. I hadn’t actually heard of the other titles before. Have you? Are you looking forward to any of this week’s releases?
Retrospect #101: December 6
Happy St. Nicholas’ Day and a joyful second Sunday of Advent! Christmas is coming and at home we have unearthed our decorations. Sadly, we don’t have a suitable space for our big Christmas tree anymore, so very few of the ornaments will be hung on branches this year. I did get a small one for my bedroom though and my mum set up another small one in the living room. It’s kinda cozy this way.
Overview: October 2015
October was a whirlwind of a month and I have so much to be grateful for. I’m particularly glad that as a result of my decision to travel in Germany and Switzerland also led me to FBM. There was so much to see as I shared in my FBM post, Vol. 1 a couple of weeks ago. There were lots of programmes too, which I captured on camera. And of course, I also got to meet some great friends.
Hot off the Press – Nov 30, 2015
Let’s call this week the last hurrah before the holidays. For the rest of December, there won’t be that many releases. If you’re looking for new books to gift for Christmas, this week’s titles are pretty much under the radar. Perfect if you want to present the bibliophiles in your life with books they don’t own yet and most likely won’t be receiving from anyone else either.
Retrospect #100: November 29
Say hey! I’m into the hundredth week of Retrospect! I didn’t actually write a hundred Retrospect posts since I bundled quite a number of them into double, triple and even quadruple(!) editions. But point is, a hundred weeks have at least sort of been accounted for. For someone who’s never been good at regularly updating a diary, I call this an achievement.
