February 2019 Overview

April 2, 2019

February 2019 Overview | Word RevelYes, I know it’s April, and yes, I know everyone else is posting their March wrap-ups, while I’m here with mine for February. I could’ve skipped ahead but I didn’t like the thought of a gap in my archives for 2019, so here we are. Also, I read so few books in March, I need some motivation that I can get back on track this April.

January 2019 Overview | Word RevelOne of my 2019 reading goals is to read a greater proportion of books I already own. In order to help me keep track and to be accountable for it, I decided to revive my monthly wrap-ups! This means I’m back once again with loads of stacks of books to share with you this year.

February 2018 Overview

February 2018 OverviewFebruary was a little out of the ordinary for me. I only listened to one audiobook out of the 12 books that I finished. This also means I read more pages in print and ebook last month, getting though 3,937 pages. That’s more in January, even though I got through three more titles then. As for audiobooks, I listened to 5:37 hours (equalling 216 pages). The total equivalent was 4,153 pages. My average rating for these books was good too at 3.718 out of 5.

January 2018 Overview — stack of print books I read2018 started off well reading-wise. I finished 15 books last month, which is close to the 16 I got through last year January. While in 2017, the Bout of Books read-a-thon helped get through quite a number of books, this year I only managed 2 books that week. Then I spontaneously joined the 24in48 Readathon because my weekend plans went bust due to the flu and a wrist injury. I got through nearly 5 books. So yes, read-a-thons can be a great motivating factor.

December 2017 Overview — book haulLast month, we moved back home, as the major works of our renovations were done. This also meant that I had to avail myself on those days that workers came in to continue, so I didn’t have much spare time left to read. In the end, I read 6 books. Three were hardcovers, two were audiobooks, and one was a paperback.
