Mise-en-scène: Thirst Quencher

September 11, 2015

Hardcover of Immaculate by Katelyn Detweiler and Ginger Beer

My favourite drinks are apple juice, grape juice and tea. Once in a while I turn to a different sort of thirst quencher. I hardly ever drink soft drinks but I am kinda partial towards chilled ginger beer. It’s so wonderfully refreshing on a hot day—perfect for sitting on the balcony and reading a book. Sometimes I grab a coffee, usually cold but occasionally hot to add some cheer to rainy Monsoon days.

What thirst quencher do you reach for?

Visit Georgie’s Instagram account, @whatshereads to see her choice thirst quencher. If you’re participating in Mise-en-scène, remember to leave your link in the linky widget down below!

Mise-en-scène is a weekly feature/meme that Georgie and I created to challenge ourselves in (bookish) photography.

This means even without adding locations, these photos will still show up in the location map. Safety could be compromised if homes, schools or workplaces can be identified. On the Mise-en-scène front, this week’s theme is thirst quencher. […]
