Project 52 – Humour

April 1, 2016

Bookish Scene: Humour – Weird Things Customers Say in Bookshops by Jen Campbell

Happy April Fools’ Day! This week’s theme is a very fitting one — Humour. Weird Things Customers Say in Bookshops by Jen Campbell immediately came to mind. It’s a hilarious book which had me in stitches, and for anyone looking to prank book lovers, I’m sure you’d find inspiration from these anecdotes collected from bookshops around the world.

I am in love with Shit My Dad Says by Justin Halpern. It’s this guy who was forced to move back in with his parents and he started a Twitter account, logging all the outrageous things his elderly father says, which then got turned into a book. It’s the funniest thing!

I’m also really curious about the book you’ve mentioned. It’s been on my tbr for ages!
