To start off, Hazel recommended Graffiti Moon by Cath Crowley. It’s one of her favourite contemporary/Australian YA books. The best part is I already owned it, so I just had to bump it up my TBR pile.
Mise-en-scène #4: Best Friends
I will never forget my 13th birthday. That year, my best friend gave me the most memorable gift: the gift of books. She hauled a huge tote bag with about 20 or so books to my family’s apartment. Then she declared that she had taken the books that were most dear to her and decided to loan them to me to read. We were only children after all, so we couldn’t afford to actually buy each other presents.

Retrospect #56-58 (Triple Edition): February 8
It’s been a while since I last wrote a Retrospect post and I’m a day late. Hah. That’s mostly because the past weeks have been a whirlwind. Besides work, I’ve training with my club twice a week and we’ve got a league match every weekend. I also tutor on weekends, so when I have time left, I mostly want to catch up on reading my books. Oh and The 100! Yes, The 100, the TV series.
