A Year with my Kindle Paperwhite

October 30, 2014

Reading in the dark with my Kindle PaperwhiteA little over a year ago, I took the plunge and ordered a first generation Kindle Paperwhite from Amazon. I first read about the impending emergence of electronic reading devices in 1999. Back then, I already knew that I wanted one and looked forward to the day I would own one. Then when Amazon introduced the Kindle in 2007, I was excited. But I decided against obtaining one then because I weighed the benefits and decided I would wait.

Photography #1: An Introduction

October 27, 2014

Book PhotographyYay to a new series of posts! Clearly it’s going to be all about photography. But beyond that? I’m still trying to figure things out. Retrospect #39-42 (Quadruple Edition): October 19th

October 19, 2014

Cinder by Marissa Meyer on Kindle and AudibleSo, uhm, it has been four weeks since I last posted a weekly review. Needless to say, a lot has happened since then. It’s so much, I don’t even know where to begin. For one, work has pretty much taken over most of my waking life. I think it’s safe to say that that is the case for most people when they start out — some more some less. I probably belong to the “more” camp. I am that overwhelmed. But I think I can handle it.
