Retrospect #50: December 14

December 15, 2014

Snowflake fairy lightsLately I’ve been so caught up with work, I don’t know which day of the week it is anymore. The only difference between weekends and weekdays is that I can approach my work more leisurely on weekends. Other than that, I’ve been extremely busy. Retrospect #49: December 7th

December 7, 2014

Yellow OrchidsIf there is one thing I wish for this Christmas, it’s not books but more time to read. Work demands a lot of my time, such that I hardly get to crack spines during the week. When I do read, I do so at the expense of sleep. Same goes for blogging. I should be scheduling posts over the weekends but then I’m so tired after training, I sleep away my Saturdays. Sundays I catch up on work I didn’t manage to finish.

9 Signs of a Hipster Library

December 2, 2014

Hipster library shelvesAfter months of closure due to renovation, Sembawang Public Library finally opened its doors again last month. I like that it’s further up north away from the hustle and bustle of town, so not that many people have discovered it yet. It has such a hipster vibe too, I can’t help but love it.
