Hot off the Press posts are back! The past weeks have been so busy for me, I wasn’t able to keep up with the latest releases. Things haven’t slowed down on my end but I missed knowing which books hit the shelves, so here we are. I hope you find new gems through these posts.
Bibliophiles Need Breaks Too
Looking at the Goodreads reading challenges among my friends, many of us, including me, aim to read a hundred books a year. In order to reach that goal, we need to read an average of eight to nine books per month. That means reading at least an hour everyday, save for speed readers who manage to devour tomes in two hours. For the rest of us, reading that many books a year requires that we invest a fair bit of time.
July 2017 Overview
I’ve finally collated my July reading stats. Turns out, it was a decent reading month for me. Altogether, I read 11 books, one of which (When Dimple Met Rishi by Sandhya Menon) was a re-read. Of the other ten, four were books I received for review. I’m especially pleased with that because this means I reduced my TBR pile for review to less than ten books, making it significantly more manageable.

Hot off the Press – July 31, 2017
New month, new books! Well, one more day to August but since books in the US usually drop on Tuesdays and in the UK on Thursdays, let’s just roll with that. Have fun choosing among these YA titles hot off the press!
