Thanks to last month’s rec, Olena finally read Divergent! She enjoyed it as much as I did, so hey, hype doesn’t have to be the end-all to enjoying a book. I read Heartbeat as per her suggestion. It was a difficult book to read but one that I’m glad I did. Issues of life and death, and also the in-between aren’t topics that can be taken lightly, so it’s great when fiction sets out to explore various attitudes towards these.
This month, we’ve decided to continue with Epic Recs, so here are our book choices:
