March Recs
This month I picked The Archived by Victoria Schwab for Hazel and she picked Rebel Belle by Rachel Hawkins for me. Schwab is an excellent storyteller, so I can’t wait to see what Hazel thinks of The Archived.
Thoughts on February Recs
Last month Hazel picked Graffiti Moon for me and I picked A Blind Spot for Boys
Graffiti Moon is such a lyrical book and I loved listening to the alternating voices of Ed and Lucy in the audiobook. Hazel also enjoyed A Blind Spot for Boys, saying,
Photography, travel, family, romance, adventure, life. I adored that all these favourite themes of mine were a part of the book but more than that I highly enjoyed the story itself. A Blind Spot For Boys was a great read!

Looks like our Epic Recs has been off to a good start, so I’m definitely looking forward to a shared love for many great books that we have yet to read.

Awesome post!
I haven’t read anything by VE Schwab and I really (really) want to because I have heard nothing but good think but I have no idea where to start!

YES Fantastic choice, Jo! I love Shwab’s writing, she’s definitely cemented her place in my heart. I wasn’t too much of a fan of Hawkins’ work but I’m curious about how you’ll like it!

I feel like The Archived sounds familiar, but I’ve never read it, Rebel Belle has such a beautiful cover :) The Archived seems like a good book to read on the commute to work, so maybe one day I’ll give it a try :D. And I really love this recommendation idea for a month!

I haven’t read either of these, but I’ve been wanting to read a book by Victoria Schwab for a long while now! I might start with “A Darker Shade of Magic” though! Simply because it’s been getting all kinds of raves. But I do want to read “The Archived” :)
