Based on the themes, I’m particularly interested in Antisocial by Jillian Blake. When it comes to contemporary books, art and social media tend to intrigue. Sadly, the average rating doesn’t inspire much optimism at 3.5 stars.
That being said, according to one of the reviews on Goodreads, the main character is of mixed descent, her best friend is Indian and her boyfriend is Chinese. Sounds like there’s a lot that I look for in books in Antisocial… To what extent do you guys allow ratings to influence your decisions of whether or not to read certain books?
