Mise-en-scène: Food

Mise-en-scene: Food - A Thousand Nights

Chocolate totally counts as food! Especially as sustenance when reading. Pair pralines with tea and you’ve got yourself the perfect recipe for a cold night huddled in bed.

What food do you reach for when reading?

Visit Georgie’s blog to view her post on food. If you’re participating in Mise-en-scène, remember to leave your link in the linky widget down below!

Mise-en-scène is a weekly feature/meme that Georgie and I created to challenge ourselves in (bookish) photography.

Is it terrible that I miss chocolate a huge amount? XD I mean, I have my dark chocolate, but sometimes I really do miss the creamy texture and taste of dairy milk chocolate *sigh*

I don’t actually eat when reading! I cannot. I fear for the pages getting dirty from whatever I’m reading, and when i have tried it in the past I just end up forgetting to eat or forgetting to read, so I gave up!

    Gorgeous photo, as always <3

What is reading without a cup of tea and chocolate?! Love the purple combination in the picture.

the world would be a very sad place if chocolate didn’t count as food. and mmm those chocolates you have up there look soooo good.

I usually don’t eat while I am reading. I do always eat during my breakfast, sometimes during lunch or dinner. So I guess my food of chocie would be cocopops cereals then. I am always afraid to get my book dirty, so I usually limit myself to food I can eat with utensils or where my hands don’t get dirty or what I can eat with one hand.

Chocolate always make me feel good on bad days, but I usually eat some chips or drink tea while reading :)

It totally counts! In fact, chocolate is my favourite food! ;) Now I’m totally craving for pralines!
