EQUINOX (The Rosie Black Chronicles #2) by Lara Morgan

January 18, 2014

EQUINOX (The Rosie Black Chronicles #2) by Lara MorganEquinox continues right there where Genesis left off. True to all the twists and turns encountered in the first book of the trilogy, this book serves up many surprises. In the same vain, it was also confusing. Once again, questions spring to mind about who belongs to Helios, who belongs to the Senate and who is following Riley. With all the double crossing and switching sides business, I do recommend reading the books one after the other instead of waiting it out and forgetting about the plot altogether.

The Sparks that Made Me Fall in Love with Reading

January 16, 2014

DIE WILDEN HUEHNER and DANKE LIEBES HAUSGESPENSTSome of my most treasured memories involve books. Childhood memories tend to be long forgotten by the time we become adults but those that have shaped us in ways nothing else could have are the ones that will continue to remain with us.

GENESIS (The Rosie Black Chronicles #1) by Lara Morgan

GENESIS (The Rosie Black Chronicles #1) by Lara MorganSpace and Mars aren’t usually my thing but when it comes to Genesis, it turns out that doesn’t really matter. In fact, that setting, along with Earth is what made this book all the more thrilling. Set 500 years into the future, enough humans have settled down on Mars that children are already born on that planet. Pip is one of them, which makes him stand out among the Ferals on Earth, although not any less menacing to Rosie, a Banker.

Retrospect #2: January 12th

January 12, 2014

I’ve had a rather slow week. Didn’t do all that much. Mostly daydream, I think, so I didn’t get much reading done.

How many of you have heard of BookCrossing before? And how many of you actually participate or have participated in BookCrossing?
