The title of my post sounds ridiculous, doesn’t it? Why would anyone thank a thief? I know I wouldn’t. Yet every other day, I see precisely that happening on Instagram.
Mise-en-scène #19: Field
Looking at an open field always makes me think of possibilities. The same goes for books that are very much open-ended. A prime example of this is Blue Lily, Lily Blue by Maggie Stiefvater. Even though I liked this book the least so far in The Raven Cycle, it made me want to seek answers. Plus, the nature-feel of the book simply fit well against the backdrop of this field right here.

Mise-en-scène #18: Music
Look at that! Finally an entire book stack with books that I have read. Not only that, they are some of my most favourite books! In fact, I rated all three books 5 stars and absolutely loved them. I think that’s because music holds a special place in my heart and I lose myself in books when music is a central theme.
