Where should I start? So much happened in September before whirlwind of an October that I had! I met Elaine and Tory over coffee and books. Later that month Hazel made a trip to Singapore, so we seized the opportunity to meet as well. I’m always curious about who these people are behind their screens. It’s really amazing how we get to meet like-minded people through the book blogosphere and bookstagram as well; more amazing even when you discover that some of them live so near you.
20 Library Hacks (for Singapore)
Who can imagine life without public libraries? I certainly can’t. I’ve been an ardent library patron since the day my sister received her first library card. Even after obtaining my own library card when I was 11, I continued to rely on my sister’s card because I would frequently max out mine. I jumped on ebooks as soon as I could. The availability of digital loans made me yearn for an e-reader even more than I already did in the year before. I took the plunge and bought my Kindle in 2013.

Retrospect #97: November 8
After five weeks spent in Europe, I finally/sadly/happily returned home. As you can see, there’re so many mixed feelings right there. For one, I was happy to see my family and it’s so good to sleep in my own bed again. Didn’t welcome the heat so much though. I miss the colder weather. It’s easier to pile on the clothes to keep warm than to keep cool in hot and humid weather.
Hot off the Press – Nov 2, 2015
So, in order to keep up with which books are already available, I’ve decided to consolidate weekly YA releases as reference for all of us. If you’re interested in upcoming releases further into the future, you may follow the new Goodreads account that I set up to track release dates. I’ll be updating it constantly. As of now I’ve noted the YA books releasing this month. Feel free to let me know if I’ve overlooked any titles. Please note that I’m only including traditionally published books.
