Amidst the many challenges available to book lovers, the focus is predominantly on reading. Some of us want to read more diversely, some want to read more, while others want to delve into particular genres on a deeper level. Georgie and I are hosting a different challenge for book lovers. Bookish Scene: Project 52 is about photography and showcasing books to fit weekly themes.

Altogether I selected six books, two of which I already started but want to finish during this period. I may detract from this TBR pile to turn to audiobooks, should I continue to struggle with written words.
2015 Resolutions
After weighing the pros and cons of reading challenges, it’s time that I outline my own goals and resolutions for the new year. Given that I have less time this year to read than I did last year, I decided to be more modest with my targets. That doesn’t mean I’m any less excited though. I mean, books and reading! Who wouldn’t be excited!
Reflecting on 2014
Before embarking on a new journey, I think reflecting on past journeys is important. In this case, I’m dedicating some time to reviewing 2014 before I fully delve into 2015. It helps that I set clear goals at the beginning of last year, so I’ll focus on those.
Read-a-thon Wrap-up
I AM BACK! Sort of. My plan was to start building up a log of posts to schedule this week but so far, I have zero posts. I’ve been so caught up with work, this is the first time in over two weeks that I’m typing a blog post. I must say, I missed blogging. At least stepping back allowed me to get some reading done.
