THE ALLOY OF LAW by Brandon Sanderson

March 30, 2017

Book cover & rating - The Alloy of Law by Brandon SandersonI can’t think of another fantasy book I’ve read that was as much fun as The Alloy of Law. It made me chuckle a lot, particularly because of Wayne. He’s hilarious and makes the most inappropriate yet fitting comments. Some part nearly had me in stitches. At the same time, The Alloy of Law reads like a crime fantasy novel.

While I didn’t yearn for another book to extend the series, I didn’t wish for less either. Three books for this trilogy was the perfect number to build up the story and to wrap it up in the end.

HOW TO LEAD A LIFE OF CRIME by Kirsten Miller

December 11, 2013

It took me a few days to recover from this one. Don’t take it the wrong way. I have so much love for How to Lead a Life of Crime! I can’t think of a book I have read the past couple of years that can even remotely compare! Reading this book caused an internal…

MILA 2.0 by Debra Driza

July 30, 2013

For those who like their books action-packed, Mila 2.0 definitely is worth checking out. For those who prefer to relate to the characters in a story though, this book might not entirely satisfy. I like a cross between the two, so I was kinda sitting on the fence about how I felt after I was done…
