THE S-WORD by Chelsea Pitcher

September 16, 2013

I first caught sight of this book at the library when I randomly pulled it out of the shelf. The premise seemed promising enough but I didn’t realize till I got home that this is a mystery novel. Now, I don’t read a lot of these nowadays but I had this phase when I was…

CONFESSIONS OF AN ALMOST-GIRLFRIEND (Confessions #2) by Louise Rozett

August 13, 2013

CONFESSIONS OF AN ALMOST-GIRLFRIEND (Confessions #2) by Louise RozettRose is back, a year older, a sophomore, with a slight bit more mature voice, and a whole lot more problems than when readers first got to know her in Confessions of an Angry Girl. She needs to decide for herself what to do with Jamie. She still has the cheerleaders on her case. She and her brother are not exactly talking to each other either. She also hasn’t stopped missing her dad who died in Iraq the previous year. In the very least, she has her best friend back by her side.

7 CLUES TO WINNING YOU by Kristin Walker

June 29, 2013

Book cover of 7 CLUES TO WINNING YOU by Kristin WalkerDon’t be fooled by the cover. Looking at it made me think the book was gonna be some sad and sappy teenage romance but it’s not. Yes, there is romance but it’s not sappy or annoying. On the whole, I thought it was rather humorous and I appreciated the wit.
