Book reviews are relative. Book reviews are subjective. Objectivity doesn’t exist, especially not when it comes to qualitative analyses of books rather than quantitative ones. This means that the relativity of book reviews is pretty much inevitable.
THE NIGHT CIRCUS by Erin Morgenstern
Let’s get the cliché part of this book review out of the way first: The Night Circus was absolutely enchanting! It was magical and beautifully written. This audiobooks was a treat for the senses, especially because Jim Dale narrated it and he sounds like the perfect traditional storyteller.
Photography: ISO, Light, Day & Night
Light is the primary factor that influences photography. It has the single most impact on how photos turn out. If the light is too bright and harsh, photos look washed out. Take photos when it’s too dark and everything turns out black.
ANGELFALL (Penryn & the End of Days #1) by Susan EE
Truth be told, I decided to pick up Angelfall because I could get the audiobook for free via Kindle Unlimited. Angelfall wasn’t actually on my TBR list but I was in search for an audiobook and practically all my friends on Goodreads who read the book liked it. Only one person was disappointed, so the odds were in my favour. This also meant that since I hadn’t planned on reading it, I had zero expectations.
FREE TO FALL by Lauren Miller
As I sit down here to review Free to Fall, my mind is till completely lost in Angelfall by Susan Ee, which I finished listening to only a while ago. No matter, I took down notes as I read Free to Fall, and sometimes impressions after a few weeks give a much better idea of the impact of a book.
