Saint Anything wasn’t a book I had meant to read. I figured that the three unread Dessen books that I own should take priority and I don’t even know when I’ll get down to reading any of them. Perhaps I’ll read one later this year since I did like this latest release of hers. The reason I decided to listen to the audiobook of Saint Anything was that it happened to be available to me via Overdrive, so I decided to borrow it on a whim.
THOSE GIRLS by Lauren Saft
There are so many reasons to hate Those Girls. Yet when I step away from the content and simply think about the structure of Those Girls as a novel, it actually holds up pretty well. This is why I think Lauren Saft has what it takes to become a successful author but I don’t have it in me to like this book much.
THERE WILL COME A TIME by Carrie Arcos
There Will Come a Time was such a great book for me. I know it’s supposed to be a very sad book as it deals with the the loss of a twin in a car crash. For what it’s worth though, I enjoyed There Will Come a Time very much. It was so moving due to the emotions that were palpable throughout the book.
